Beaurocrates ..lets get rid of them

Disband the Bureaucrats

...what do they do?

Definition: an official who works by fixed routine without exercising intelligent judgment.

Whenever anyone says its time to cut down the size of the government bureaucracy, the tax and spend crowd (read bureaucrats) starts crowing on about how without all those bureaucrats, fewer people would have money to spend, and we'd fall into a recession, or make the current recession worse.

Well Msssr Harper and Flaherty as most Canadians know and feel and now at last the Canadian Government (read veneering experts and designers of 'flip-flops ) admit at last that indeed we were/are in one and also now confirm we may stay in debt for a long time.? Who cares our children will inherit our bad financial management won't be our problem.

It follows that if tax dollars are taken from taxpayers to support bureaucrats who exist solely to create demand (for what), taxpayers get nothing in return for their tax dollars. It's true, bureaucrats spend money and that creates jobs, but for every job created by a bureaucrat, it is one less job created by a taxpayer. That's because taxpayers have less to spend. If the reason we have so many bureaucrats is so we have people with money to spend, the time has come to get rid of them.

Bureaucrats exists to provide services taxpayers value, not to get a salary to create demand in the market. I think??

The money used to support bureaucrats is paid from taxpayers' pockets. Fewer bureaucrats means taxpayers will have more money on hand to pay for more of the goods and services they want.

The income and purchasing power of taxpayers increases as the income and purchasing power of bureaucrats decreases, and we become much better off because demand increases for the things we want. Bureaucrats please find employment producing the things we want.
